Darwen Live - Makers of Market Square

Yesterday afternoon the choir sang a selection of songs from last week's concert plus one or two others at the Makers of Market Square event which had craft stalls, food, refreshments, a magician for the children plus all day entertainment, running from 10.00 in the morning.

The weather was fantastic, warm and sunny which drew in large crowds throughout the day. We were singing at 3.00p.m. and a large audience watched and joined in with us making it a wonderful event for everyone involved.

Thank you to Laura Johnson for inviting us to take part, and to Mike and his team of helpers for setting everything up for us, and to Holly for looking after our sound system.

Laura put this in the Lancashire Telegraph on Monday 28th May - good news indeed. " One of the main attractions was the Walk This Way Choir. They were 40 local people. and everybody enjoyed it and they created an amazing atmosphere".

A GREAT DAY.
