Spring Vale Christmas Fair

Our Stall before the opening

We rehearse every week at Spring Vale Methodist Church in Darwen and yesterday we opened their Christmas Fair,by singing four of the numbers from our Christmas Concert. The church was packed with both supporters of the church, choir members, and friends and relatives. Everyone enjoyed the singing and we were congratulated on our performance.

To help support the church we had a craft stall. Choir members and ladies from the committee made Christmas themed craft items which drew a lot of interest from the visitors to the fair. We raised £75 on the day, with a few possible extra sales in the next few days, so we were very pleased to be able to hand this money to the church to help with it's upkeep.
